Mahlon Morse, originally from Massachusetts, was raised in Rome, Italy when his architect father accepted a position there. When Mahlon's family moved to the Bay Area, he spent summers working at the architectural firms of Edwards Durrel Stone and Architectural Design Group as a draftsman and scale model builder.  Mahlon's formal education took a different course when he pursued his passion for language and graduated from Universites de Paris Sorbonne with a degree in French Interpretation and Translation.  Mahlon took on various remodeling projects around Paris and his appreciation and skill for marrying centuries' old architecture with modern conveniences grew. Mahlon moved back to the Bay Area and formed SF Renovations in San Francisco in 1988.  He brings a unique blend of European design sense, a talent for problem solving and great attention to detail to each project he approaches. Mahlon's greatest pride comes from completing thoughtful, enduring projects that homeowners truly love.
